So I’ve been M.I.A. for quite some time. So let me fill you in…

First there was divisionals. My last Swim Meet ever. Kind of sad, yet kind of liberating knowing that I never have to go to swim practice ever again. As much as I hate swimming I will indeed miss waking up at 6:00am to swim, the long hot swim meets, the kids that I coach, but most of all my friends I love them all and Good luck to them next year in college and the military!

Then My family took a little vacation to Boston, MA, the place of my birth and the birth of the revolutionary war. We visited Minutemen National Park and then scurried over to Bedford Farms for Ice Cream. I just have to say that Bedford Farms has THE BEST ICE CREAM EVERRRR! It’s so rich and creamy and a small is three scoops!!!

So the next day we went into downtown Boston and went shopping!! I bought lots of clothes from urban outfitters $$$$$ Not cool, but the clothes are super cute! We stopped at Mike’s to eat Cannolis. I ate a chocolate riccata cannoli and bought a espresso cannoli for later.

While walking back to the car it started to rain. No pour. It was raining cats and dogs. Then my bag from urban decided to split in two and tada! all my lovely clothes and oh no! the cannolis were all over the sidewalk. So pictured above is me carrying my clothes.

On our last day in MA we went on a whale watch and saw seven beautiful whales. Did you know that they eat between 2000-3000 fish each day. And yes they do eat fish.

Oh and we also saw a basking shark. (It was Shark Week Too!)

08/17/10--18:12: After I got home from Boston I turned around and went right back... (chan 1827518)

After I got home from Boston I turned around and went right back up to NYC! We took a midnight train and arrived at 5:00am. We meandered up and down the streets until we found our hotel. (Which we later found out was right down the street from where the bus dropped us off).

The NExt day we went to the MOMA and they had this red light thing that we took pictures in. I got to see the lovely Starry NIght by Van Gogh and got yelled at for standing too close to it. I got so see some other lovely painting by some other lovely artists, but Van Gogh was the climax!

I’m not really sure in what order we did everything else but I shall list it off for you…

Went into the Church of Scientology

Went to Central Park

Went to China Town

Went to a Cafe in Little Italy

Went to Dinner In Little Italy

Went to another Cafe in Little Italy for 3 hours

Then We took a 1:15am bus home. Our bus driver got lost and had to ask for direction. It was only 20 degrees on the bus. Some guy almost got kicked off for asking the driver to turn down the air. Then some spanish lady said, “We are like penguins up here.” All in all it was a pretty crappy bus ride, but a pretty good trip.

08/17/10--18:17: Then on the 13th went to the MAroon 5 Concert! It was my first... (chan 1827518)

Then on the 13th went to the MAroon 5 Concert! It was my first concert. Isn’t that sad, I’m 18. But it was epic. I paid $10 for my seat. Then my lovely friend Joe who works in the pit, got me a seat in the second row!!! Then he just managed to get his hands on their copy of their setlist!!!! It was such a great concert! Maroon 5 has been my favorite band since I was 12 and I’m so glad that I finally got to see them live!

The only bad part about the night was that it was the last time for a very long time that I’m going to see my friend Jeff. I think he’s probably the funniest person I know, but he’s off at basic now and I wish him the best of luck!

The next night I went to a Nationals game. They lost =( and Strasburg didn’t pitch =( but the entire stadium did the wave six times all the way around the stadium. I thought that was pretty cool!

Sunday I went to Kings Dominion and rode the intimidator. It was a kind of rainy day so not that many people there, so no lines!! After being thoroughly soaked on the rapids we decided to head home. We all met up at my friends house and ate mac and cheese. It was a very good day!

Finally today I went and got an obnoxiously orange pedicure with my best friend. Then we went to the mall and I bought some 2% spandex jeans for 15!!!!! Yay!!!!!! I finished the day at sakura eating mushrooms and rice in honor of Taylor’s birthday. So happy happy birthday Taylor!
